Wave Dancer is the first collaborative work done in the Mackinaw Watercraft shop. The design concept on the fore-deck was created by Helen Gardner, a student of the prestigious Kendall School of Design. It was then fabricated by Mackinaw Watercraft and inlaid into the cedar deck planking. The Genuine mahogany compass rose on the aft deck hatch was created by Allen Deming.
