The Northwoods Star is a Looking Glass model solo kayak designed by Allen Deming. The hull is mostly Northern White Cedar. The repurposed California Redwood insets on the fore deck and hatch lid were inspired by the designs of early American quilt makers. Who may have in turned been inspired by Native American images. This boat is sure to give as many hours of enjoyment viewing it as paddling it.
